Viewing Film of the Discovery of Scharnhorst Wreck – 6 April 2020

The film about the search for the German warships sunk in the Battle of the Falklands in 1914 will be shown on the Smithsonian Channel on Monday 6 April 2020 at 20:00.

The film presents the search, conducted over 5 years under the auspices of the Falklands Maritime Heritage Trust and spearheaded by Mensun Bound, a Falklands-born marine archeologist.  The film, directed by Matt Wortman, is also expected to be shown on Channel 5 TV in early May.
