Argentina still promoting historical errors in pursuit of its Falklands sovereignty claim.

In the margins of this year’s United Nations General Assembly, the Argentine Government has drawn attention to the 50th anniversary of Ambassador Ruda’s statement to the UN in September 1964 which is widely held to mark the start of Argentina’s campaign to take over the Falkland Islands.
