Death of Mrs Merle Christie

It is with great sadness that we report the death of one of our long-standing Vice-Presidents, Merle Christie.  She and her late husband, Bill Hunter-Christie, effectively founded the Falkland Islands Association and mobilised the Falklands lobby in the UK during the late 1960s.  Merle worked tirelessly for the Falkland Islands Association and ran our London office for many years until her retirement.
