SS Great Britain 50th Anniversary: The Albatross – 17 May 2020

The Falkland Islands Association is most grateful to the Falkland Islands Museum and National Trust for the donation of the Albatross for the SS Great Britain 50th Anniversary Exhibition.  Steve Massam, their Chief Taxidermist, has used his exemplary talents to produce this piece, it should be noted that the Albatross died of natural causes.

The RAF has kindly agreed to transport it when scheduling and current circumstances allow and we are very grateful.
